Product Description:
- It is used in the treatment of bone-related disorders.
- It slows down the bone destruction process caused by cancer spreading to the bone (bone metastasis) or giant cell tumor of bone (type of bone tumor, which cannot be removed by surgery).
- It is used in adults with advanced cancer to prevent serious bone-related complications like fractures, pressure on the spinal cord or the need to receive radiation therapy or surgery.
How to use:
- This medicine is to be taken in an injection form.
- It will be given by your doctor or other paramedical staff.
- It should be taken for frequency prescribed as per your doctor.
- Injection should be given slowly. Follow up periodically about improvement or worsening of the symptoms.
Caution & Warnings:
- If you have any allergy to Denosumab or any other ingredient of this medicine.
- If your blood calcium level is low (hypocalcemia).
Side Effects:
- Pain in muscles and joints
- Pain in hands and legs (extremities)
- Frequent or painful urination
- Urinary tract infection
- Constipation
- Pain or discomfort in the abdomen
- Itching, dryness and redness on the skin
- Hair loss
