Product Description:

• Watene Gel and cream are indicated for the cutaneous treatment of acne vulgaris where comedones, papules, and pustules predominate.


• Acne of the face, chest, or back is appropriate for treatment.

How To Use:

• Squeeze gently a quantity of Watene on the fingertips sufficient to cover the affected area.


• Watene Gel and cream should be applied to the affected areas once a day after washing.


• A thin film of Watene should be applied avoiding the eyes and lips.


• Always ensure that affected areas are dry before application.


• With patients for whom it is necessary to reduce the frequency of application or to temporarily discontinue treatment, the frequency of the application may be restored or therapy resumed once it is judged that the patient can again tolerate the treatment.

Caution & Warnings:

Generally:

• You should discontinue treatment if any sensitivity or irritation occurs.


• Watene Gel and cream should not contact with the eyes, mouth, or mucous membranes, if the product enters the eyes, wash immediately with warm water.


• Watene Gel and cream should not be applied to either cuts and abrasions or eczematous skin.


• Patients using Watene should avoid overexposure to direct sunlight.


• The safety and effectiveness of Watene Gel and cream have not been initiated for children.
