How To Use:
The typical dose is:
- 1 tablet (12.5 mg of ALOGLIPTIN and 1000 mg of metformin) twice daily with food.
- Healthcare providers should individualize the starting dose of ALOGLIPTIN and metformin HCl tablets based on the patient's current regimen.
- ALOGLIPTIN and metformin HCl tablets should be taken twice daily with food with gradual dose escalation to reduce the gastrointestinal (GI) side effects due to metformin.
- ALOGLIPTIN and metformin HCl tablets must not be split before swallowing.
Dosing may be adjusted based on effectiveness and tolerability while not exceeding the maximum recommended daily dose of :
- 25 mg ALOGLIPTIN and 2000 mg metformin HCl.
Warnings And Precautions:
- Avoid foods that are high in saturated and trans fats.
- Instead, consume fats from fish, nuts, and olive oil.

- If your kidneys are not functioning properly (ALOGLIPTIN / metformin) can lead to a condition called lactic acidosis.
Symptoms of lactic acidosis include:
