Sunitinib amends the activity of various enzymes involved in tumor growth, pathologic angiogenesis, and metastatic progression of cancer.
Sunitinib is indicated in adult patients for the treatment of the following conditions:
The treatment of gastrointestinal stromal tumor (GIST) after disease progression on or intolerance to imatinib mesylate.
The treatment of advanced renal cell carcinoma (RCC). the adjuvant treatment of adult patients at high risk of recurrent RCC following nephrectomy.
The treatment of progressive, well-differentiated pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (pNET) in patients with unresectable locally advanced or metastatic disease.
How to use:
If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember it unless it is nearly time for your next dose.
Do not take a double dose (two doses at the same time) to make up for the forgotten dose.
12.5Mg or 25Mg once daily,in special cases used 50Mg daily.
