Product Description:

• Spasmomen 40mg Tablet 30s is a medicine that contains otilonium bromide as the active ingredient.
• It is used to treat irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and other spastic or hyperkinetic states of the digestive tract in adults.
• It works by relaxing the smooth muscle of the gut and reducing the sensitivity of the cough reflex.

How to use:

• Take Spasmomen 40mg Tablet 30s as prescribed by your doctor, usually one tablet three times a day before meals.
• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Do not chew or crush it.
• Do not take more than three tablets a day or for more than seven days without medical advice.

Caution & Warnings:

• Do not take Spasmomen 40mg Tablet 30s if you are allergic to otilonium bromide or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6).
• Do not take Spasmomen 40mg Tablet 30s if you have glaucoma, prostatic hypertrophy, pyloric stenosis, or severe liver or kidney problems.
• Do not take Spasmomen 40mg Tablet 30s if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, as the safety of this medicine for these conditions has not been established.
• Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking any other medicines, especially anticholinergics, antihistamines, or sedatives, as they may interact with Spasmomen 40mg Tablet 30s.
• Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you have any medical conditions, especially heart problems, thyroid problems, or urinary problems, as they may affect the use of Spasmomen 40mg Tablet 30s.
• Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you have any allergies, especially to lactose, as this medicine contains lactose monohydrate as an excipient.
• Stop taking Spasmomen 40mg Tablet 30s and consult your doctor if your symptoms worsen, persist for more than seven days, or are accompanied by fever, rash, or other signs of infection.
