Product Description:
- Prolyte Powder is a WHO based ORS (Oral Rehydration Salt) formula.
- Oral redyration salt is a combination of Dextrose and a number of essential electrolytes (Sodium Chloride, Potassium Chloride, Sodium Citrate).
- Prolyte Powder restores body fluids & electrolytes, lost due to dehydration in during Diarrhea, vomiting, muscle cramping, and exertional heat illness, while exercising in hot or humid weather.
- Prolyte sachets has been formulated as an oral rehydration salt.
- It helps to restore the fluids and electrolytes lost due to dehydration that caused by diarrhoea or excessive sweating due to heat or exercise.
How To Use:
- Add entire contents of the sachet in 200 mL (1 glass) of water and stir
- Continue treatment until diarrhea stops/dehydration is corrected
- Dosage - depending upon age and severity of dehydration
Infants and children:
- 1 - 2 litres ( 5 - 10 glasses) over a period of 24 hours
Adult:
- 2 - 4 litres ( 10 - 20 glasses) over a period of 24 hours
Caution & Warnings:
- -
- Be careful to mix the right amount of water.
- If you use too little water, the drink could make the diarrhoea worse.
- Use under medical supervision
