FEQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1. How long should I wait before reading the test result?

• You should wait at least 5 minutes before reading the result.


• Results read after 10 minutes must be considered as invalid (risk of false positive results)

2. Is the test reliable?

• The detection limit of this test is 10 mIU/mL hCG, concentration usually found 1 day before the expected date of menstruation


• If you run a test several days before the expected date of menstruation, you can obtain a negative result, since the test cannot detect the hCG concentration yet.

3. The test result indicates I am not pregnant, but I am not convinced

• You ran the test too early before the expected date of your menstruation. Run another test 48 hours later.


• Potential error in the calculation of the expected date of menstruation.


• If, in the absence of menstruation, the test result is still negative 3 days after the expected date of menstruation, consult your doctor.

4. The result indicates I am pregnant

• You should see your doctor who can advise you on what steps you should take next.

5. The test did not work correctly (there is no control line visible).

• Here are the possible reasons:


• After sampling, you did not lay the test flat.


• You read the result before the end of the minimum waiting period.


• The blood volume you applied was insufficient.


• The buffer solution was not dispensed.


• In any case, you should run another test

Warning & Precautions:

• The test is a single use test. Do not reuse.

• Do not use the test if the pouch is damaged or torn.

• Keep out of the reach of children.

• Once the pouch is opened, use the test immediately.

• Nothing should be in contact with the reading window (result area).

• Store the tests in their pouches between °4C and °30C. The tests are stable until the 


• expiry date indicated on the box. Do not use out-of-date tests. Do not freeze.

• NG-Test hCG Blood Precision is intended to be used with blood samples only.

• The blood must be transferred on the test strip immediately.

• The test must be placed on a flat surface while waiting for the results. The test


• should never be oriented upwards.

• The test can be used one day before the expected date of menstruation or from the


• expected date of menstruation.

• After use, follow local recommendations for disposal, contact your pharmacist. Do not dispose of the device as it is in household garbage
