Product Description:
Nexcare™ ColdHot Therapy Pack Mini is intended to provide a superficial cold or heat. Compresses can be used cold or hot and is a solution for those who prefer natural, drug-free therapy.
Cold helps to reduce swelling, inflammation and pain; Use cold for tooth ache, acute injuries (bruises, sprains, minor bumps), fever (not intended to decrease body temperature), nosebleeds, post injection and insect bites swelling.
Heat helps to reduce pain, soothes and relaxes; Use heated for sinus inflammation, wrist arthritis/rheumatoid arthritis or hand warming. Re-warm gel pack once it reaches room temperature.
Apply to the affected area for as long as it is comfortable.
Protective cover for the gel pack is included allowing quick/easy and comfortable application ensuring furthermore safety for your skin. Always insert gel compress in the supplied cover or clean towel, when applying to the skin.
Not made with natural rubber latex. Reusable pack with non-toxic gel - safe for the whole family.
Hot therapy:
Boiling water - Place the gel pack in boiled water for 2 to 3 minutes. Remove the pack from boiled water. Wipe it clean with any cloth and place in the wrap/cover provided in the box and the pack is ready for use.
Microwave - Place the gel pack in the microwave for the seconds recommended in the pack on high power. Remove the gel pack from the oven and keep in the cloth cover/wrap provided and the pack is ready for use. The time of the microwave depends upon the initial temperature of the gel pack. In winter gel pack may take more time to get heated. Knead to distribute heat evenly.
Cold therapy:
Place the pack in the freezer for 2 to 3 hours and the pack is ready for use. Can be cooled in the freezer or refrigerator.
Caution & Warnings:
Do not overheat. The temperature of the hot pack should be comfortably warm.
If you have heart disease or hypertension, it is advisable to consult your doctor or physiotherapist before application. Do not use it in place of medication,
If there is any discomfort during the application, stop immediately.
Not for ingestion.
Do not apply excess pressure.
The pack is reusable and for external use only. To be kept out of reach of children.
Avoid keeping heavy objects on the product surface.
