Product Description:

• Linex baby is a probiotic intended for use in infants and children below 12 years of age to support the balance and function of useful intestinal microflora.

• The balance of the good bacteria in the intestines gently treats and prevents abdominal upsets caused by a disturbance in the natural friendly bacteria in the intestines. 

• This imbalance can lead to diarrhea, abdominal pain, and an increase in the air in the intestine (bloating).

• This intestinal bacterial bacteria (flora) constitutes a real defensive barrier against harmful bacteria.

Normal flora balance disturbance may occur due to:

• Frequent use of antibiotics and antiprotozoal medications. 


• Intestinal infections


• Changes in diet 

• Linex baby contains Lactic acid bacteria “ Bifidobacterium animalis, lactis (BB-12), (Good bacteria) which help safely to support the balance and function of useful intestinal microflora.

How to use:

1. Linex Baby is intended for oral use only, and should not be taken together with hot beverages.
2. Open the sachet and empty its content into a glass of water, juice, or milk. The powder can also be mixed with food for infants.
3. If you give Linex Baby to your child concomitantly with antibiotics it is recommended to use it not earlier than three hours after administration of the antibiotic.

Dosage 

• Infants and children up to 2 years of age: one sachet once a day. 


• Children aged 2 to 12 years: one sachet one to two times a day (for instance, in the morning and in the evening). 

• You can give Linex baby to your child until symptoms improve. 

• If diarrhea does not improve after two days of treatment with Linex Baby, please consult your doctor.

Caution & Warnings:

• Don’t give Linex baby to a child, if he/she is allergic (hypersensitive) to active substance or any of the other ingredients of Linex baby.
• Before the start of therapy the parents should consult a physician: 
• if the child's body temperature exceeds 38 °C, 
• if they notice occult blood or mucus in the child’s stool, 
• if diarrhea lasts for more than two days, 
• if the child has intense diarrhea accompanied by dehydration and loss of body weight, 
• if diarrhea is accompanied by intense abdominal pain, 
• if the child has diarrhea and other chronic diseases (e.g. diabetes, cardiovascular diseases) AIDS) or immunodeficiency states (e.g. HIV infection).

Ingredients:

• Each sachet of powder for oral suspension contains not less than 1 x 10⁹ colony forming units (CFU) of lyophilized lactic acid bacteria Bifidobacterium animalis subsp. lactis (BB-12).
