- Manufacturer: Diapatch
Product Description:
- Diapatch is made from cotton with a hypoallergenic acrylic adhesive.
- It contains no latex or medications, reducing the likelihood of skin irritation.
How to use:
- STEP1: Tear the backing at every perforated line before applying the patch . Tear the backing paper across the perforated line until it splits . The fabric side is flexible , so you can twist or pull the patch to tear the backing without damaging the patch.
- STEP2 : Apply the exposed part of the patch directly over the device , then peel off the rest of the backing paper . The patch is flexible , so you can adjust it to make it fit around your device. Continue peeling the backing away in small segments as you apply the patch . Removing too much backing at a time can result in the patch sticking to itself , ruining the application. To avoid skin irritation , the ends of the patch should be applied without stretching them . The patch can only be applied once ,so avoid touching the adhesive side of the patch.
- STEP3 : The patch is heat activated , and rubbing the patch will activate its bonding agent , which helps it to stick to the skin effectively . After applying , rub the patch briskly from the center to the ends to activate the adhesive . Do not rub from the ends toward the center , or you may cause the ends to peel away from the skin
- - The adhesive needs time to bond with the skin . Apply the patch at least one hour before exercising , swimming , or showering .
- step 4 :Remove the patch in the direction of hair growth , which is usually away from the center of the body on the trunk , and in a downward direction on the arms or legs . To minimize discomfort press the skin at the end of the taped area while gently peeling patch back . A patch that is still strongly adhering to the skin maybe loosened by soaking with baby oil
Caution & Warnings:
- Individuals with, extremely sensitive skin , however , may still experience rash itching , or irritation .In addition , the following products have been reported to minimize skin irritation when applied and allowed to dry priorate patch application
